Obituary for Rose Mary Stasiowski Crampton

July 18, 1941 - December 29, 2019
Lowell, Massachusetts | Age 78

Loving Mother,Grandmother,Sister, Aunt and Trusted Friend

Rose Mary Crampton of Lowell, formerly of Concord MA, passed away peacefully at Dyouville Senior Care in Lowell, MA on December 29, 2019. She was 78 years young.

Born July 18, 1941 in Lowell, MA to Andrew (Red) and Dorothy (Dot) Stasiowski. She graduated from Lowell High in 1959 and went on to careers as a highly efficient legal secretary and then as a secretary in the Semi-conductor physics lab at Hanscom Field in Bedford, MA.
RoseMary lived in Bedford, MA for 25 years, and then in Concord, MA for 19 years.

Rose Mary enjoyed traveling, taking several cruises to the Carribean and Alaska, toured many countries some of which were Scotland, Ireland, England, France, Scotland, New Zealand and Africa. A large portion of her heart belonged to Rockport, MA where she loved the smell of the sea, the gorgeous views, the lobster rolls, and the peaceful feeling, and everything else with the exception of the seagulls.

She had many truly wonderful friends both in her old Bedford neighborhood and in Concord. Her friendships stayed strong through all the years and she treasured them. She enjoyed going movies, plays, restaurants and events with her friends and family, though only her friends would go to the opera with her. She was a loving, supportive and often irreverently silly Mom to her daughter, and they often reduced each other to totally inappropriate giggles and guffaws with tears streaming from their eyes in blatantly public places. She was adoringly proud of her two grandaughters and was one of their biggest cheerleaders, loving them fiercely.

She is survived by her daughter, Laurie Sullivan, and her granddaughters Jessica and Kaitlyn Sullivan, all of Lowell MA; her beloved sister Linda Powell, of Venice FLA; her brother William Stasiowski of Leesburg, FLA; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Andrew and Dorothy Stasiowski, and her husbands Charles E. Ryan and Arthur (Bill) Crampton.
