Condolence & Memory Journal

Janet has been a friend of mine since grade 1. We had many good times together. When our kids were small we still got together with 4 other girls and their kids. Even up until a few years ago we still found a way to get together. Janet will certainly be missed. I looked forward to her monthly e-mails. My deepest sympathy to the family.

Janet was the valedictorian of the Class of 1952 at East Hampton (CT) High School and remained active in all alumni activities through the years. Everyone remembers her for her high intellect, intelligence, and deep dedication to spiritual values. She was an outstanding member of an outstanding class and can never be replaced or forgotten. Her loss to family and community is shared by the many friends and acquaintances who were her neighbors and classmates in East Hampton, Haddam Neck, and Marlborough Connecticut.

Our deepest sympathy to the family if Janet Johnson. Although we never met, she opened a world to me, a friendship that was precious & true. A penpal for many years then the monthly e-mails was always anticipated. We will miss her & treasure her memory. May she dance in heaven with Lloyd. Elaine Hawkes
