Dear Joe, Bill , Dana and family. I will always recall Howard fondly. He always had a warm smile for me and always checked with me about the weather forecast. He had a gentle and friendly manner and will be missed. I hope you will get comfort from the many great years of happy memories.

With sympathy. Dave Cook

Rick Vaccarello, I remember our Christmas Eves with Howie and New Found Lake. Howie taught me how to water ski behind his Boston Whaler

I was fortunate to have a job that allowed me to travel extensively and meet thousands of people from all walks of life. But, without a doubt, one of the nicest, most decent human beings I have ever known could be found at a gas station in West Concord.
Howie Soberg represented all the qualities parents hope their kids will have: hard-working, even-tempered, fair, empathetic and with a quiet sense of humor that brightened the lives of all those with whom he came into contact.
Lib and I send our condolences to Thelma, Dana, Bill, Pete and Joe and their families. The world was a better place for Howie's having been here and is the poorer for his passing. RIP, my friend.

My sweet Uncle Howie was a gentle giant...kindhearted, sincere, and loved by so many. That dry sense of humor and straight face got me every time! Fond memories of Thanksgiving feasts with 8 rambunctious kids running around (7 of them boy energy!) are emblazoned in my childhood mind. Both Uncle Howie and Aunt Tema cherished family above all, and I know they are so proud of Dana, Bill, Pete, and Joe and their families. Sending love to all as we celebrate the life of an amazing man!

For a day I have been at a loss for words . My best memories of howie is when me and Frank Cormier and bob Mullin formed the teen employee force with howie and Ted as our leaders . In my first year we went to The Soberg house for a Christmas party . there I saw Howie for the first time out of uniform with no hat and his great wife and family all round him . Howie was lucky to have such a great family and Joey, Billy and Dana were just good friends as co workers , a tribute to the great person he was .I was glad to have known him . After about 20 years of not seeing him I walked away n snd he recognized me like we had been friends all along . So long Howie I will never forget you

Temma, Dana, Billy, Joe and Peter and family--So sorry to hear of Howie's passing. He always, always had a smile on his face. The fondest memory I have is when a few of us years ago went up to the cottage in Bristol, NH and played "hide an seek" at night--- quite a few laughs!!! Temma please take care of yourself and accept my condolences. Kitty (Lamonakis) Molakas

I remember every spring, Howie would say to me "Is it time to plant the flowers yet?" That meant he wanted the morning glories planted. They always did look beautiful. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Soberg family.

Howie will be sorely missed as he was everyone's friend. I will always remember hanging out at E&S as a youngster dreaming about the days when I could have my own car. Prayers to all of the Soberg family.

To all the Soberg Family. Our hearts are so sad to hear of Howie's passing. He was the sweetest man we ever knew. Always a big grin on his face and a very dry sense of humor. We became friends when we came up to Newfound Lake - Camelot Acres in the early 70's. Our families shared so many happy times at the lake. Howie and Tema were a great couple and we considered ourselves fortunate to have them as our dear friends. Rest in peace Howie. Your family was so blessed to have you for so many years. To the family - share your memories with others to help ease your loss. Love and prayers to all. Elsa and Bob Johnson and family.

So saddened to hear of Howie's passing. Our sincere condolences to his entire family. Having worked at E&S during high school, Howie became an additional roll model for a young kid. He was smart, kind, a willing teacher and a great boss. He taught us how to be patient, empathic, and that a strong work ethic will get you far in this world. It is fitting that he leaves such a strong legacy for his family, friends and Concord. RIP Howie.
