Dear Keith and Ann, and all your family- I just chanced upon the news of your mother's passing. Your mom was a great favorite of my mother at Waterstone, and was so thoughtful and kind to me and my siblings during my mother's final illness and after her death. I will remember your mother's smile, her bright eyes, and her friendly lack of guile. May your memories of her be a blessing and a comfort.

My condolences to Barbara's family. I worked with Barbara at the Weston Clothing Exchange for some years. It is just when Mr. Kirkpatrick passed away that I realized that he was Barbara's husband. I remembered that he had come to my office at the Canadian consulate years ago for renewal of their passports.

Ann~ Your mother was a wonderful woman. I met her at Sarah and Juniors wedding almost a decade ago, and was so impressed by her gentle manner, deep intelligence, and true beauty. I know you two have been very close and you will miss her every day. You are in my thoughts, Ann.

Karen: to you and the rest of your mom’s family, please know how sad it was for me to hear of her passing. As an abutter to the Waterstone property when it opened it 2012, management kept inviting me to social events. I had no intention of selling my home and moving in. But, your mom made me feel so welcome, that a year later (2013), I sold my home, moved in and spent time with her. I shall always have a special place in my heart for Barbara and have some personal memories, as I’m sure you all do. RIP, Barbara, until we meet again.

I shall always miss my dear friend, Barbara. She was one of the first people I met when I came to Waterstone in 2012 and she made me feel so welcome. Barb was a warm, kind and loving lady and will be greatly missed. Sending my deepest sympathy to her wonderful family.

Dear Karen, I loved getting to know your mom through many dinners at Waterstone with Harriet, Romany and Barbara C. I considered her a good pal of mine-always interesting and interested. What a sweet and wonderful woman. I hope that the memories and close ones will bring you peace during this sad time. She always talked about all of her children, grandchildren and loved ones so lovingly. I know Harriet shares in my condolences to all of you. Warmly, Linda Sacks
