I was very sorry to hear of this passing. Living across the street from him as a kid in the 80's, I knew Mr. Burt as a kind and considerate man. He was also a person of intelligence who was eager and happy to share his knowledge. I remember him teaching me how to properly check tire pressure and patch wheels, which I didn't fully appreciate at the time but now that I have to make sure my own family's various tires/wheels are in good condition I very much do. My deepest condolences to all the Burt family.

Alan was a member of the Winchester High School Class of 1953 - we always enjoyed having him come to the reunions when we held them at Mahoney's Rocky Ledge Farm....I do remember Alan running track for the school and being good - always enjoyed seeing him at our class gatherings - please accept our deepest sympathies from the class of 1953.
