Barb & I were classmates of Jim's at Cornell. Class of 1961. He was a good friend and someone you enjoyed being with. We will miss him. Condolences to the family. RIP

I was fortunate enough to cox him in several freshman crew races. He was a powerhouse and an inspiration! , !

What a fine young man he was, a role model for us all. Kind, friendly, honest... there are not enough adjectives to depict his integrity. He was loved and will be missed.

Jim Spindler was my apartment-mate for the three years of law school. He was a truly fine human being and my friend. I was best man at his and Mary's wedding. Deepest sympathies to Mary, David, Henry and their families.
