"Carol was one of the "Angells" from Brown. I particularly cherished her wry sense of humor, her courage, and her spirit of adventure. Pushing 80, Carol and her Angells discussed the wisdom of climbing the Barnegat lighthouse. As the others hemmed and hawed, Carol, her eyesight nearly gone, spoke up to say, "I'll go!" Carol Batchelder Jones was a treasure and a joy to know. I miss her so."

"I have very fond memories of Carol at WCUC and the Five and Dime. Her children as well. Carol is a part of all my happy memories of Concord."

"Carol sang alto in the West Concord Union Church Senior Choir for many years. She was a good musician who came to every practice and every Sunday service. We have missed her sorely in recent years."

"I knew Carol initially at West Concord Union Church but often met her around town over the years, & lastly at the Concord Council on Aging. She was always a lovely & friendly person. We will all miss her."

"Carol was a member of the 1967 Newcomers bridge group and we played bridge for over 50 years. When Carol's eyesight was failing she became an even better bridge player. She had to memorize the cards and pay closer attention. Carol will be missed by all those who knew her."
